I love youthtown because they have lots of games. At youthtown i learnt a game nemed cat and mouse. My favourit game we played is the warm up.

Persuasive Writing

I was learning to wirte a persuasive piece of writing. I can think of lots of reason why Ice cream is better than chocolate. It was easy to persuade the reader to think that Ice cream is better than chocolate because Ice creme is very yummy!

Telling time

I was learning to tell the time. I can read the short hand and I can read the long hand. It was hard because I need more practise telling the time.

Acrostic Poems

I was learning to write an acrostic poem. I can write an acrostic poem about Halloween. It was easy to write an acrostic poem because there is lots of things we can say about the topic, Halloween.

 I was learning to write a narrative story. I can describe the Characters and setting. It was easy because the picture prompt helped me to write my story.

Describing the Setting

I was learning to describe the sitting.I can describe
where the story  is taking place.it was easy because the pictures helped me see where the story took place.

Word Mania

I was learning to make words using different letters. I can make lots of words using the littler provided.It was tricky bacause the letters I needed to make the words I wanted ware not available.

Addictive Addition

I  was learning to solve addition problems.I can solve simple addition problems.It  was tricky because I need to practise my basic facts more.

Contractions

I was learning how to make contractions. I can make two longer words into one shorter word. It was easy because the new word had parts of the two words.

Bonds to Ten

I was learning about bonds to ten. I can add two different number to make 10. It was easy because I have been practising adding to 10.

Punctuation Marks

I was learning to notice and identify punctuation marks while reading. I know and can explain with the punctuation. It was tricky because I kept getting confused with which one was which.

Couting Forwards and Backwards

I was learning to count forwards and backwards starting from any number. I can count forwards starting from any number. It was tricky to count backwards because counting in a different direction was hard.

Understanding The Story

I was learning to show my understanding of the story. I can answer simple questions about the story where the answer can be easily found in the text. It was easy to answer questions about the story because we read the story before.

Road Safety

I was learning about the short and long vowel sounds.I can tell the difference between the long and short vowel sound.It was easy to tell the difference between the vowel sounds because the video explained it well.

I was learning to skip count in 2's and 5's. I learn't how to skip count in 2's and 5's. It was tricky skip cokunt  in 5's because not done this beforc

I was learing about features of fiction texts.
I know the fealures of fiction texts.
It was tricky to learn about features of fiction texts because I have not learnt this before.
